A WIERD EVENT

On September of  2015, when I was 23, my friend Megan, my sister Susan and I were getting ready for a party that was going to start at 10 PM. We all gathered at my house at 8 PM, it was already dark. We were havig a good time: listening to some music and chatting about our lifes. 

Suddenly we saw someone or something through the window. I was very scared, and couldn't tell if it was a person or an animal. Susan said it was an animal as we would have seen the person's face. However Megan was absolutly convinced that it was a man. I didn't side with any of them, I was scared stiffy. 

Susan was tired of fighting over the situation so she decided to get out of the house and find out who or what it was. We didn't want to leave her alone so we followed her outside. It was very dark but we had flashlights. We heared something moveing and decided not to let him scape. Once we got him the police arrived. Susan later explained that she had called them earlier. 

As soon as the policed arrived, they took the criminal to the closest police station. I couldn't believe that someone could get into the house so easily. That night we decided to stay in and recover from the expirience. The next day I went to a security store and bought an alarm to feel more protected. That traumatic situation made me feel insecure but at the same time stronger as a woman.
