SHOULD WOMEN LISTEN TO SEXIST MUSIC?

Music has been in our lives for a very long time. At the moment there  are many kinds of music and some of them are offensive to women. In my opinion, this type os music should not be listened by women nor men. 

The group of people who listen the most to sexist music are teenagers. This is because of them not focusing on what the songs are saying or what they really mean. If youngsters stopped for a second and realised what the lyrics are expressing, they might not listen to this offensive music. 

Secondly, musicians should pay attention to what they are stating when they create a new song. Women already live in a world that makes them think that the female gender is the weak or bad gender therefore, when song-writers write songs in which men treat women like objects or animals, they only make girls feel insecure about themselves. 

Furthermore, the consequences of this kind of music on men could be more serious than on women. When the males listen to sexist music a fake superiority is created. This is why it is also important for men to not to listen to this songs. 

To finalise, women and men should avoid listening this type of music. However, everyone is free to listen to whatever they like.
